These films were never released in the U.S until it was announced by Discotek Media in 2012 that they had acquired the rights to the first four movies in a two disc set. The first two movies received a theatrical release in France under Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque: La Légende de la Pomme d'Or, and La Guerre des Dieux, where Knights of the Zodiac was at its prime popularity in that country. A sixth film, Legend of Sanctuary, was premiered in 2014. A fifth film named Heaven Chapter: Overture was released in 2004, originally intended to initiate a continuation of the manga. The plots of these films do not comply with the chronology of the manga or anime storylines and therefore it is unknown at what point the events of the films take place.

Jump Force is North America's fourth best-selling game of 2019 (behind only Kingdom Hearts III, Anthem, and Resident Evil 2), and had the third highest launch month sales for a Bandai Namco game in the territory. In North America, the game debuted at number two on NPD's monthly sales chart for February 2019, behind only Anthem. As of 17 March 2019, the PS4 version has sold 190,214 physical units in Japan. In Japan, approximately 76,894 physical units for PS4 were sold during its launch week, becoming the top-selling game that week. The game received "mixed or average reviews" according to review aggregator Metacritic. Jump Force was announced at E3 2018 during Microsoft's press conference and the game was released on Februfor Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama designed the original characters created for the game.
